A friend of mine needed an insert for her infant daughter’s car seat. The plastic one that came with the car seat caused her daughter to sweat all the time. I created this headrest from a quilted cotton fabric using the plastic one as a pattern. It works great and “Dani” is a happy little girl.

I made this beautiful christening gown from my sister's wedding dress for her first grand baby. By the way, I made the original wedding dress for my sister and hesitated to cut into it when she came to me with the idea. I recently got a thank you note from this bride saying that she wished everyday was her wedding day so she could wear her dress over and over again. I used fabric from her mother's wedding veil to make her the perfect veil for her special day. The bride wanted to add pink to her dress so I added an accent pink rose in the center midriff of her dress. I also replaced the while tulle petticoat for a pink one. It was the perfect touch for a beautiful bride and a wedding day that she will remember forever!
